I have lived in many jurisdictions but have never had a local representative keep me so well informed and represented my interests so diligently as Paul Sharman.
Is it time to turn the page on long serving incumbents particularly when there are qualified and capable alternatives ready to bring new energy and vitality forward? A low voter turnout and a strategy of vote splitting, calculated or unintentional, is out of step with how Canadians at large are rising to the challenge from outside our borders. Isn’t it time to make sure we put our best people on the front line in each and every community across the country?
Ward 6 best choice is Rowen Fraser, kind, classy, dedicated and up to the task.
Burlington needs a change in direction for the better with a new mayor – eight years is to long for the incumbent. Taxes and traffic are at the top of my list.
Ward 1 incumbent is seriously compromised and regularly has to either recuse himself from debates or get a pass from integrity commissioner to participate in representing the citizens of the Ward on fundamental issues of development and planning. Definitely time for a change and at least one challenger has come forward.
